Vaultwarden

Vaultwarden is a FOSS, Rust based Bitwarden API server. The Docker can be found here. It is entirely compatible with the official Bitwarden clients and designed for self-hosting.

Why self-host Vaultwarden instead of using the official Bitwarden servers?

There are a few reasons someone might do this.

1. You like to self-host things for fun.

2. You don’t trust your data in Bitwarden’s servers. (In my opinion, Bitwarden is extremely trustworthy)

3. You want to have total control over you data, regardless of trust.
